Innovate Mental Health offers Therapy, Substance Abuse, Relationship, and Mental Health services to meet the needs of civil or criminal court orders. We can collaborate with your attorney, probation officer, judge, or any other legal authorities. You control the access to information, and everything is shared with you before being submitted anywhere. You control the process, and will always be treated professionally and with compassion.

Including counseling and professional assessment in your court case can help to meet the requirements of a Judge, Magistrate, or Special Master. It can also help to show the court that you have dedication to rehabilitation, and help inform the court’s decisions. If you are facing criminal charges, probation/parole violation, civil orders, or are simply looking for a proactive way to demonstrate positive behavior, we are here to help.

Available Services:

Substance Use & Mental Health Evaluation:

We conduct thorough court-ordered mental health and substance use assessments to measure the level of risk and psychological functioning. This is completed through clinical interviews and standardized screening tools. Each report will include recommendations focused on treating any underlying issues. The written report will be sent to you and your attorney.

Many substance use evaluations overlook the importance of assessing co-occurring mental health disorders. Disorders such as ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Trauma disorders, and other mental health issues can contribute to substance overuse or addictive patterns, and a more comprehensive assessment can help the court understand the need for treatment.

Counseling & Treatment:

It is important to use evidence-based, modern, and trauma-informed treatment to satisfy court orders, avoid re-offense, and demonstrate compliance. Treatment can include individual counseling, relapse prevention, and sobriety maintenance. Available modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Family Systems Therapy. Treatment is always individualized according to your needs, and documentation is available as needed.

Prime For Life® DUI Course:

Prime for Life® DUI education is an evidence-based program commonly required for DUI and impaired driving offenses. This program focuses on reducing high-risk alcohol and drug use while increasing personal responsibility and informed decision-making. The course satisfies Utah’s requirment of a 16 hour educational course. The class is taught online over two days, 8 hours each. Following completion you will receive a certificate to supply to the court, probation officer, or any requestor.

Co-Parenting Therapy:

Many parents experience conflict while navigating divorce, separation, and custody negotiations. Therapy sessions can help to improve communication and reduce conflict. Services include structured sessions, parenting coordination support, and progress documentation. Focus will always be placed on helping individuals to follow existing agreements, divorce decrees, or court orders.

Innovate Mental Health Solutions does NOT offer mediation, custody evaluation or make recommendations on legal issues that should be addressed with your attorney or through a mediator.

Parent-Child Interaction or Reunification therapy:

When there has been a significant time with minimal cantact between a parent or child there is often a need for therapy to help rebuild and repair the relationship. This may be court-ordered or the choice of the parents. Reunification services are structured, child-centered, and designed to promote safety, attachment, and healthy functioning, with an emphasis on complying with divorce decrees, parent agreements, and court directives. Therapy may include individual counseling, family sessions, or (often) a combination of both.
